What you’ll be working on

Allstacks is growing, and we’re scaling our presales team to help enable and accelerate our growth. You will be working together with the Allstacks direct sales team on the technical aspects of selling the Allstacks VSI platform within our Enterprise and Commercial business sectors. Our global customers span all industries and sizes. 

As a Presales Solutions Architect, you will be self-organized and analytical, clearly articulating the Allstacks VSI insights to our prospects and helping them make better decisions. 
We're looking for candidates who can learn quickly and hit the ground running. In this position you will be a strong individual contributor, taking primary responsibility for value-based discovery, qualification, solution alignment, and PoV trial process.

Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Technical Expertise: Engage with customers, both on-site and remotely, providing advanced technical expertise during the pre-sales process—transition into a mature consultancy and advisory role, offering technical assistance and solution guidance.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate closely with the sales team to go beyond mere support, actively contributing to the formulation and execution of a sales strategy that surpasses revenue targets through the widespread adoption of Allstacks.
  • Technical Guidance: Assume the role of Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for Technical Close Plans, overseeing technical evaluations, POC/POV ownership, technical aspects of tender/audit support, and workshop design.
  • Customer Relationships: Cultivate deep relationships within customer environments to transform them into passionate advocates for Allstacks.
  • Customer Feedback: Serve as the customer advocate, relaying valuable insights to other Allstacks teams, including Product Development, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Market Knowledge: Maintain specialized competence in one or more technologies relevant to Allstacks’s market focus. 
  • Allstacks Knowledge: Leverage comprehensive knowledge of the Allstacks platform and associated technologies to educate customers of all sizes on its value proposition. Participate in discussions throughout the organization to ensure successful Allstacks deployment.
  • Growth & Development: Continuously enhance your professional skills, focusing on personal mastery and team learning through activities such as training, reading, and seeking mentorship.
  • Strategic Client Engagement: Conduct Value Assessments and executive reviews with prospective accounts during the trial process.

Required Qualifications

  • Align closely with Allstacks' Core Values
  • 2-5+ years in Presales Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering or Solutions Consultant at a SaaS company
  • Technical Presentation and Communication Skills: Strong ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Be Comfortable in a Startup culture centered on growth & continuous learning mindset. 
  • Aptitude for analyzing data, backed by excellent communication skills to showcase the “art of the possible”  
  • Experience in Information Technology or Technical Pre-sales: A background in software/technology sales or consulting.  DevOps experience is a huge plus.
  • End-to-End Software Development Lifecycle: Understanding of the complete software development lifecycle.
  • Familiar with SDLC tools like Jira, GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps 
  • Allstacks Proficiency: Ability to effectively use Allstacks.
  • Modern Software Development or Operations Experience: Hands-on experience with contemporary software development or operations and associated technologies.
